ILA’S and IDC’s Jordi Aragunde Miguens Completes Another New York City Marathon Running With Hole in the Wall Gang Camp Team, Raising Funds For Camp and Spreading Love and Support For Campers
NORTH BERGEN, NJ (November 10, 2022) Sporting Number 21 on the back of his running shirt in tribute to ILA Executive Vice President Dennis A. Daggett, his closest friend with the ILA and International Dockworkers’ Council, Barcelona’s Jordi Aragunde Miguens completed another New York City Marathon this past Sunday as part of the Hole In the Wall Gang Camp Fund team. With family and friends cheering him on along the rugged 26.2-mile journey throughout New York City’s five boroughs, Brother Jordi helped raise funds for the ILA’s major charity – the Hole In the Wall Gang Camp for children with cancer and other life-threatening illness.
He ran the New York City Marathon with his running companion, Ruben Amat and described the 2022 race “as an amazing experience and a really hard marathon.”
Jordi said the challenging course was made easier running for the Hole in Wall Gang Camp and in tribute to his labor partner, Dennis Daggett.
