St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Receives $12,000 Donation From September 27th “ILA Night At Yankee Stadium”; ILA Longshore Workers Continue To Assist Special Children’s Charity With Total Donations Topping $137,000 For 2024
NORTH BERGEN, NJ (October 9, 2024) Through the generosity of over a thousand ILA rank-and-file members, their families and friends who attended the annual “ILA Night At Yankee Stadium” held on Friday, September 27, 2024, more than $12,000 was raised for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Coupled with the donation made earlier this year from the annual ILA-USMX Children’s Fund Charity Golf Outing, more than $137,000 has been donated to this special children’s charity founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas more than 60 years ago.
“The ILA is proud of its partnership with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital,” said ILA President Harold J. Daggett. “We all had a great time at ‘ILA Night at Yankee Stadium’ in late September and on behalf of my ILA membership, we are proud and delighted that the event raised over $12,000 for this most worthy charity.”
