To My ILA Membership and Families:
It is a joy to wish all my beloved and faithful members of the International Longshoremen’s Association a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. On behalf of my sons, Dennis and John, and my daughter, Lisa – along with my cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren – the Daggett family sends your family love and God’s Blessing on this Celebration of the Birth of the Prince of Peace.
Our ILA longshore workers bring joy to countless numbers in the communities where we work and live. As we watch the year 2021 soon fade into history, we can take pride in working through another challenging year, faced with this frustrating and persistent world-wide Covid crisis. Proudly and heroically, ILA members kept all ports open and commerce moving throughout 2021. The goods and services families across North America enjoy having during this Holiday Season, were brought to you by our dedicated ILA membership. It makes me so proud to call you Sisters and Brothers.
However you celebrate this Holiday Season, I hope it is with the warmth and comfort of family and friends. I have great faith in the Power of Prayer, especially during this Christmas Season, and I continue to offer them to you and your families. May we all be blessed with His Grace; His Protection and His Love.
