NOR,TH BERGEN, NJ – (August 8, 2019). The sister of International Vice President William B. Ashe, Jr., was one of the nine victims killed by a gunman on August 4th in Dayton, Ohio. Beatrice Nicole Warren-Curtis, 36, of Carrollton, Virginia was visiting a friend and work colleague, Monica E. Brickhouse, in Dayton and both were killed early Sunday morning in a mass shooting.
“The tens of thousands of ILA members join me in expressing our deepest condolences to our International Vice President, Bill Ashe and we pray for him and his family as they deal with this horrific tragedy,” said International President Harold J. Daggett.
William Ashe, Jr., is a member of the ILA’s Executive Council and an International Vice President representing the Ports of Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware.
Services for Ms. Warren-Curtis will be held in Williamson, West Virginia. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Truth Tabernacle Church, 603 Logan Street, Williamson, West Virginia. The funeral service will begin at 12 o’clock noon.
Interment is at Mountain View Memory Gardens at Maher, West Virginia.
