MUNZ PRESENTS ILA PLAQUE OF SOLIDARITY AND UNITY AT ILWU CONVENTION

The Maritime Union of New Zealand National Secretary Carl Findlay presented the International Longshoremen’s Association with a plaque to acknowledge the solidarity and unity that was given to the Maritime Union of New Zealand, Auckland Branch Local 13 during the 2012 Ports of Auckland dispute.

This plaque marks the 10 year anniversary of the dispute.  The union movement, to this day, still remains “unbroken.”
