John D. Baker, Jr., Re-elected President of ILA’s Great Lakes District Council; Ray Sierra, Michael Baker, and John D. Baker, Sr., Returned to Office Along With Six Vice Presidents
TAMPA, FL. (March 18, 2023) The Great Lakes District Council of the International Longshoremen’s Association concluded its second day in session at it Eight Quadrennial Convention with elections of officers to serve for the next four years. John D. Baker, Jr. was re-elected President of the Great Lakes District Council and scores of delegates also re-elected Raymond Sierra as Council Executive Vice President; Michael Baker as Council Secretary-Treasurer and John D. Baker, Sr. as President Emeritus.
Three of the top Council officers – John D. Baker, Sr.; Raymond Sierra and John D. Baker, Jr., also hold elected positions with the ILA’s Executive Council, and Michael Baker is also a Vice President on the ILA’s Atlantic Coast District Executive Board.
William Yockey, Bell Shrewsbery, John Reed, Rusty White, Carlos Brown, and Richard Smith were elected Great Lakes District Council Vice Presidents.
