DENVER, CO – (October 19, 2021) – International Longshoremen’s Association Trustees, officers and staff participated in 2021 International Foundation’s Employee Benefits Conference held this week at The Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. After a year’s absence due to COVID pandemic, trustees from ILA ports around the country were happy to be reunited with their Sister and Brother ILA members. The week-long conference featured scores of educational sessions covering topics ranging from “Multiemployer Collective Bargaining Issues” to “Legal and Fiduciary Issues in Investments.” Even Covid subject matters made their way into this year’s foundation session offerings: “Life With Covid- Health Care Benefits Trends”; “Vaccines and the Cost of Care for Unvaccinated Participants”; and “Real Estate Investments: Before and After the Pandemic.” In the hallways and conference sessions, you were sure to find an ILA representative attending one of the many classes. The ILA delegation took time out to join in this amazing photo.
