NORTH BERGEN, NJ – (July 28, 2025) Charles Ward, Executive Director of the NYSA-ILA Pension Trust Fund and President of the ILA New York-New Jersey District Council, announced that a seminar will be held Tuesday evening, July 29th, 2025 beginning at 6 pm at the Holiday Inn, 160 Frontage Road, Newark, to discuss details of the upcoming “Window Period”.
In a letter sent to ILA members eligible for a “Window-Type service retirement pension during the first or second Window period (October 2025 or October 2026) in the Port of New York and New Jersey, Executive Director Ward said the seminar would discuss “benefits and how they apply to a Window-Period pensioner.”
“If you are considering retiring under either the first or second window, or just desire information, I strongly advise you to attend so you can take full advantage of what you may be entitled to,” said Ward, who also invited ILA members to bring their spouse or family members to this seminar.
