NORTH BERGEN, NJ (May 7, 2021) The International Longshoreman’s Association (ILA) is proud to announce our endorsement for Assemblywoman BettyLou DeCroce re-election to the NJ General Assembly in District 26. The Assemblywoman has demonstrated her support for our association and others at the port through her actions as a member of the State Transportation Committee. She has worked tirelessly to help keep our ports open and thriving during these challenging economic times and the restrictions imposed during the pandemic.
The Assemblywoman has supported dredging the ports to allow for larger ships to traverse our waterways for the delivery of goods needed here in our State to help keep our economy moving forward.
During COVID-19 she has worked closely with the ports on our operational concerns and helped author UNLOCK NJ as a guide for a program that could be implemented to safely and successfully re-open our State for the economic viability of all business, both large and small, within New Jersey.
She is an elected official who genuinely cares about the people and businesses of our great State and its betterment for everyone who lives and works here. Assemblywoman DeCroce has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to New Jersey residents, and we are proud to endorse her for re-election!
