ILA Delegation at 47th APRI National Education Conference: With 74 days to go before Election Day 2016, the A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) holds its 47th National Education Conference in Detroit at Marriott Renaissance Hotel. The International Longshoremen’s Association was participating fully in the APRI Conference. APRI continues to be the leading labor and Civil Rights organization promoting education, voter registration and “Get Out the Vote” programs. The U.S. Presidential election, key Senate and Congressional races and Governor’s races were likely to be important items covered at the Detroit APRI conference.
