ILA LOCAL 1291 OUT OF THE PORT OF PHILADELPHIA DONATES HUNDREDS OF TOYS TO CHILDREN IN NEED

On behalf of ILA Local 1291, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our members who supported this year’s toy drive.

A special thank you goes to ILA Locals 1242, 1566, Philadelphia - Wilmington District Council, all of our friends, families, and our employers for their generous donations. We are also especially grateful to β€œAll in Solutions” for partnering with us to make this drive a success.

Together, we’ve filled five boxes and raised over $3,500 for Toys for Tots.

Thanks to everyone’s contributions, we’re excited to spread love and make this Christmas a little brighter for children in need.

Thank you Maurice Mulgrew, ILA Local 1291, for sharing this message.

ILA LOCAL 1235 MEMBERS GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AT THEIR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DRIVE THAT SPONSORED 780 CHILDREN

A message from ILA Local 1235 President Brandon Garcia:

Local 1235 members,

β€œToday, we dropped off the gifts for our annual Christmas drive. Every year we commit to more than the last….this year the membership of Local 1235 exceeded my expectations. Not only did this local donate to every child in one school, we then took the responsibility to sponsor a new school and their kindergarten classes.
The total amount of children that were sponsored this year was 780!
Just know, everyone that participated, you’re all making a difference.
The joy on the kids faces were second to none. Please enjoy the photos that were taken….those smiles are because of each and everyone of you! Thank you and I couldn’t be prouder of this Local!
Thank you for allowing me to serve this amazing membership. Have a Merry Christmas!”

β€œI love everything about the holidays: the decorations, the parties, and spending time with friends and family. What I love most is that feeling of giving back. EVERY BIT COUNTS”

ILA GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON

The Keith Clark β€œMake a Kid Smile for Christmas Bike Drive”

The Hampton Roads District Council, Local 970, Local 1248, Local 1624, Local 1963, and Local 1970 partnered with Hampton Roads Shipping Association and the Port of Virginia to donate nearly 200 bikes and helmets to kids at 5 local schools.
This amazing event was started by ILA retiree Keith Clark in 2012, and it continues to grow every year.
Many of the kids shed tears of joy and expressed their utmost gratitude after receiving a new bicycle. We are so thankful for the opportunity to be able to give back to the community that we serve, especially to those in need during this holiday season.

Thank you ILA Local 970 President Jonathan Coley for sharing this story.

Right. This grifting union busting corporate elitists is the answer. Dennis. I believe you're becoming a polyp in Trump's rectal cavity. Don't hold your breath

I have never been this hopeful in our leadership.

I’m impressed. But the proof is in the pudding, let’s see who Trump appoints to the NLRB, FLRA and other labor agencies. Maybe he has turned a new leaf, and maybe he is still the old Republican stooge of business interests.

Snow job
