Daggett, International President of the International Longshoremen’s Association brought over 1 thousand docker and maritime union members to Lisbon, Portugal in November 2025 for the inaugural “Anti-Automation Conference” declaring war on companies that looked to advance automation at the expanse of longshore and maritime jobs.
