Organizing in Baltimore

(October 25, 2019) International Longshoremen’s Association continuing its organizing drive at Rukert Terminals Baltimore. Rukert handles metals, ores, fertilizers, alloys and other dry bulk and break-bulk cargoes. According to its web site, Rukert “services include stevedoring, warehousing and transfer to and from vessel, rail or truck.”

Jim Paylor, International Assistant General Organizer, is leading the effort to organize Rukert workers at its Baltimore Terminal.
